2009 Weekend Golf Break - 24th April to 26th April - Draycote Congratulations to Terry Purchase our new champion and Bill O'Mahony and Adrian Freeman our runner ups. The 2009 weekend break has now past and a great time was had by all. In Saturdays individual competition Terry Purchase took the honours with a score of 34 point that was matched by Bill, after a short break the two of them set off back down the fast for a sudden death play off. After a some very nervous playfrom both golfers Terry took the match with a triple bogey. Longest drive and nearest the pin awards were both won by Terry Rothwell (Who seemed to be suffering from something he ate) Sunday saw the tradition of team match play continue and once again team Strides regained there title with Tony beating Bill 5 and 4, Terry P falling 3 and 2 to Adrian and team captain Terry Rothwell beating Barry on the 18th to seal the match.
